Program: Transitional Aged Community Treatment: TACT is a program designed to support clients who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Community and home-based treatments are provided to clients age 15-29 using a collaborative team approach. The team is composed of a coordinator, therapist, vocational support, family support and peer specialist who receive training necessary to help clients and their families navigate this potentially scary time of life. Services delivered include: Individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, life skills groups, behavior coaching, vocational support, case management and peer support. 

Position Summary:
Assists Program Director in the operation and administration of program/facility to meet the behavioral health needs of clients, caregivers, and community agencies. May have responsibility and oversight of specialized programming and/or personnel. Consults regularly with Program Director in regard to the performance of their area of responsibility. Provides direction and supervision to assigned behavioral health service delivery staff. Assists Program Director in developing and communicating agency, network, and team visions, and operationalizing strategic goals for area of responsibility. Provides therapeutic counseling and case management to clients with mild to severe mental illness and/or substance use disorder as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:
-  Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
-  4 years of related experience in the behavioral health field serving clientele of varying diagnoses and levels of impairment required.
-  Colorado clinical licensure in appropriate discipline (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred.
-  Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) preferred.
-  Credentials, such as licensure, higher education and/or CAC II or greater, may be substituted for experience.
-  Experience in coordinating behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies preferred.
-  Must have demonstrated ability to manage others or projects of program significance; Clinical supervision and/or management experience is preferred.

-  Mild to severe mental health and/or substance use disorders/disabilities, trauma-informed care, and recovery/resiliency-oriented services.
-  Client groups and/or issues related to the program area (i.e. age groups, level of severity, risk category, etc.).
-  Program development and enhancement, change management, and effective supervisory/management approaches.
-  Professional and ethical guidelines as outlined by the State of Colorado.
-  Federal, state and local regulations regarding delivery and documentation of behavioral health services.
-  Electronic medical record documentation practices.
-  Human resource concepts, practices, policies and procedures.
-  Workplace policies and professionalism.
-  Organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures.
-  Organizational sensitivity regarding complex relationships with federal, state and local agencies, government entities, and personnel.
-  Plan, organize, time manage and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments. Use effective follow through. 
-  Provide treatment and case management in routine and crisis situations.
-  Identify and support appropriate diagnostic assessment using current diagnostic system.
-  Read, analyze, and interpret related professional periodicals, journals, financial reports, technical procedures or government regulations. 
-  Apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
-  Communicate effectively and positively, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of individuals and constituencies, including when under emotionally charged and stressful situations.
-  Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
-  Effectively manage and appropriately support assigned program staff including hiring, professional development, and performance management.
-  Interpret structure, policies and procedures of North Range Behavioral Health facility.

-  Establish, operationalize, and achieve overall program goals and strategies with program employee support, including modification of existing program services or creation of new program services to maintain or enhance program standing and to effectively meet the needs of clients and the community as assigned by the Program Director.
-  Collaboratively work with the Program Director in the development of comprehensive program policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards; communicate and support agency and program objectives, policies and policy changes. Enforce policies and procedures related to employment laws, program guidelines, regulatory compliance and safety.
-  Analyze data and utilize/prepare a variety of reports to assist with evaluating services, capacity and in response to state inquiries or regulations in relation to assigned program area; evaluate and verify accuracy of relevant reporting data. Use data on an on-going basis in planning, implementation and review of team members and processes as directed. 
-  Assist Program Director to ensure quality program performance, including revenue goals and procedures, documentation standards, penetration, compliance, fidelity measures, and other program performance variables. 
-  Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problems in a proactive and timely manner.  Consult with Program Director on complex matters and issues.
-  Support Program Director by collaborating with colleagues in respect to clinical planning, service delivery and cross-division issues to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of program. Keep manager informed of administrative and legislative issues or changes in assigned program area.
-  Model agency core competencies (Customer First, Compassion, Collaboration) and assure development and support of team values with staff.
-  Screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates as assigned; use applicant tracking system to document and communicate appropriately and timely throughout the screening and selection process.
-  Complete formal staff performance reviews and engage in ongoing performance management and coaching with employees as directed by the Program Director; document performance; ensure performance issues, conduct and ethical issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner; follow through with disciplinary actions as necessary.  Seek assistance from Program Director for complex personnel matters.
-  Ensure appropriate training for program staff regarding accurate coding, fiscal responsibilities and documentation for services rendered; serve as a resource person to program staff; when directed, provides technical assistance, training and coaching in clinical and administrative areas to support staff development.
-  Assure environment is conducive to employees being able to work without harassment, discrimination or retaliation; report all alleged incidents to next level manager and/or Human Resources Director.
-  May convene regular staff and employee supervision meetings and attend various agency meetings, as assigned; actively participate in committees, work groups, and special projects.
-  With assistance from Program Director, may provide fiscal management of defined program; assist Program Director to ensure team achieves budget and service provision goals including scope, quantity, and cost of service.  Support Program Director in monitoring financial activities, preparing justification for fiscal impacts, and providing input to annual program budget planning process for assigned area of responsibility.
-  Engage the community in carrying out the mission of the organization to promote program and other agency services; assist in identifying networking opportunities and act as professional spokesperson for organization and program(s) in appropriate and relevant forums or groups; prepare and deliver verbal presentations, and conduct facility and program tours.  Maintain and improve close and cooperative relationships with external agencies, interest groups, referral sources and other community groups to explain program(s), mediate differences, and seek modifications as indicated by the Program Director.
-  Provide crisis and routine clinical services for clients; may be called upon to provide assessments or to prepare clinical reports and documents; initiate involuntary hold and treat processes as needed and within scope of practice/credentials.
-  Respond to inquiries and/or resolve concerns from clients, care givers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community, consulting with Program Director as needed; coach staff to address and resolve or propose solutions; problem solve difficult clinical issues with manager and implement strategies for resolution.
-  May measure, monitor, and report grant and/or contract services and outcomes on scheduled basis using appropriate reporting tools and methods for area of responsibility; prepare reports for review by next level supervisor and file reports to payor source in a timely manner.
-  Under the direction of the Program Director, may collaborate at local, state, regional, and national levels to develop and promote best practices for prevention and intervention; may provide input to the Program Director regarding strategic planning for program development and monitoring with various stakeholders.
-  May provide expert knowledge through contracted services, such as provision of training, education, supervision, consultation, and workforce development, as assigned.
-  May participate in social marketing and media campaigns, and work with others on consistent messaging of program and services as assigned.  May involve statewide marketing campaigns.
-  Performs other duties as assigned by Program Director.

Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in a standard office environment; some assignments may require work in a milieu setting.  Program assignment may also require transportation of clients and other travel, generally within the community, with occasional travel within the state.  Work outside of normal business operations and hours as needed.

Compensation dependent upon experience and qualifications. Salary placements generally occur near the minimum to midpoint of the range.
