Salary Range: $15.00/hr. - $19.47/hr.

*** Crisis positions receive 5.5% Program Differentials Pay ***

Salary placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements generally occur between the starting wage and the midpoint of the salary range.

Peer Support Specialists are people who have been successful in the recovery process and who help others experiencing similar situations. Through shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, peer support specialists work to help people become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of relapse.

Where We Need You:
The Crisis Response Team provides behavioral health services to walk-in customers, agency residential programs, and other community settings. This team provides quality care and assessments to individuals and/or families needing crisis services.

What You'll Do:

  • Advocating for people in recovery
  • Sharing Resources and building skills
  • Build Community and relationships
  • Mentoring and setting goals

What You Need:

  • A High School Diploma or the ability to demonstrate reading, writing, and speaking skills
  • A personal experience or have been impacted by mental illness, substance issues, child, or family issues - or a combination of these challenges.
  • 1 year free of drugs and/or alcohol or successful competition of treatment and 1-year out from treatment competition.
  • No current or legal involvement within the past 2 years.
