Salary Range: Unlicensed: $48,500.00/yr. - $68,018.00/yr. | Licensed: $56,900.00/yr. - $85,366.00/yr. 

The base compensation represents the entry point of the salary range. Salary placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements generally occur between the starting wage and the midpoint.

Program:
True North provides Intensive Residential Treatment to individuals whose lives are affected by the use and abuse of substances. Our residential program provides up to 45 days of intensive treatment to men and women 18 years of age and older. We take an individualized, harm reduction approach which helps us meet people where they are at and support them to successful recovery. We provide residents therapy, support, structure, and life skills training that help build a healthy life and reengage in our community. Finally, our collaboration with other programs such as Withdrawal Management, Crisis Response Team, Intensive Outpatient, Medication-Assisted Treatment, and Recovery Support Services allows the people we serve many supports as they navigate recovery.

Position Summary:
With a Customer First and Compassionate approach, Mental Health Clinicians will:

  • Identify and support appropriate substance use disorder diagnostic assessment using the current diagnostic system.
  • Coordinate behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies.
  • Plan and use effective interventions with clients.  Appropriately assess the need for law enforcement involvement.
  • Provide treatment and case management in routine and crisis situations.
  • Plan, organize, time manage, and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments. Use effective follow-through.  Endure periods of heavy workload. 
  • Visually assess responses to mental illness or reaction to substance abuse medications.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to provide services to clients. Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment/service plans.

Education Requirements: 

  • Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or other behavioral health disciplines from an accredited college or university is required.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • ·Valid driver's License and ability to meet agency insurability requirements.

Experience:

  • No experience is required
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorder challenges highly desired.
  • Experience in coordinating behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies preferred.

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking desired
