Salary Range: Unlicensed:$48,500.00/yr. - $68,018.00/yr. | Licensed: $56,900.00/yr. - $85,366.00/yr.

The base compensation represents the entry point of the salary range. Salary placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements generally occur between the starting wage and the midpoint of the salary range.

Program:
Part of the Youth and Family Outpatient team, our School-Based Clinicians, provide comprehensive mental health and substance treatment for students struggling with life's challenges. Located in many Greeley, Evans, Hudson, and Kersey School Districts, the school-based team provides convenient access to effective therapy services to students during their school day. 

Position Summary:
With a Customer First and Compassionate approach, School-Based Clinicians will:

  • Provide client-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. 
  • Intervene and de-escalate crises with clients. Provide crisis intervention via telephone or face-to-face in a variety of settings.
  • Develop strength-based service plans, monitor treatment progress, document interactions, and maintain electronic clinical records and other reporting data for individuals with mild to severe mental illness and/or substance use disorders. 
  • Observe clients in a variety of situations. Assess diagnosis and mental status of clients, evaluate the current level of functioning, and develop and implement treatment/service plan to address client needs. 
  • Collaborate continuously with assigned clients to devise safety planning, provide symptom management, identify support systems, and reduce and mitigate risk factors. 

Education Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other behavioral health disciplines from an accredited college or university is REQUIRED. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets agency insurability requirements. 

Experience:

  • No experience required 
  • Experience coordinating behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies is preferred.

Nice to Have: Monetary Incentive Available: 

  • Bilingual Spanish Speaking is preferred.
