Salary Range: Unlicensed: $48,500.00/yr. - $68,018.00/yr | Licensed: $56,900.00/yr. - $85,366.00/yr.

The base compensation represents the entry point of the salary range. Salary placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements generally occur between that starting wage and the midpoint of the salary range.

Program:
The Counseling Center at Carbon Valley provides services in the southern region of Weld County. North Range Behavioral Health provides quality care and assessments to individuals and families who need crisis intervention. In addition to housing crisis walk-in services and mobile crisis services, we will eventually create a 23-hour observation program. Part of this expansion includes the development of the “living room” model and expanding our work with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. 

Position Summary:
With a Customer First and Compassionate approach, Mental Health Clinician's will:

  • Embrace the North Range Behavioral Health Mission Statement – Provide compassionate, comprehensive care for people who face mental health and addiction challenges.
  • Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
  • Develop strength-based written treatment plan/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines.
  • Observe clients in a variety of situations. Assess diagnosis and mental status of clients, evaluate the current level of functioning, and develop and implement treatment/service plan to address clients' needs.
  • Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills, educating clients to make informed choices; developing clients' coping skills; help clients to problem solve and negotiate tasks of daily living.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to provide services to clients. Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment/service plans.

Education Requirements: 

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other behavioral health disciplines from an accredited college or university is required. 

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred 

Experience:

  • No experience required 
  • Experience in coordinating behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies preferred.
