Salary Range: Unlicensed: $48,500.00/yr. - $68,018.00/yr. | Licensed: $56,900.00/yr. - $85,366.00/yr.

The base compensation represents the entry point of the salary range. Salary placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements generally occur between the starting wage and the midpoint.

The Adult Outpatient Program provides behavioral services to a wide variety of consumers who are focused on recovering from the challenges of mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Clientele referred to this team are supported in establishing life goals and maintaining control over their lives. 

Position Summary:
With a Customer First and Compassionate approach, Mental Health Clinician's will:

  • Embrace the North Range Behavioral Health Mission Statement - Provide compassionate, comprehensive care for people who face mental health and addiction challenges.
  • Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
  • Develop strength-based written treatment plan/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines.
  • Observe clients in a variety of situations. Assess diagnosis and mental status of clients, evaluate current level of functioning, and develop and implement treatment/service plan to address clients' needs.
  • Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills, educate clients to make informed choices; develop clients' coping skills; help clients to problem solve and negotiate tasks of daily living.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to provide services to clients. Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment/service plans.

Education Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other behavioral health disciplines from an accredited college or university is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License

Nice to Have: Monetary Incentive Available:

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
  • CAT or LAC competency preferred


  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorder challenges preferred
  • Experience in coordinating behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies preferred.

Additional Eligibility requirements, as required by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE):

  • Annual Flu Vaccine
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Exemptions may be requested upon hire according to policy)
  • Annual TB testing may be required
